It Is Within

Today's subject is it is within.

We are told the kingdom of God is not a sign to be observed. What was said is the truth. Here it is. I offer it. For the kingdom of God is within. Can we make this literate? I see your faces. I see the room. With everything I see, I see your tic -tac -tic -tac -tic image of my perception of it. It's really within me. But blanks the air. It should be home. The way it wears you out, it is within. In your own imagination, always expect the world you want to look like. It's not a shadow. It's natural. So you can think of this task as the almost brutal. It's the human imagination. The only thing you've danced enough to create. To the best of your space. This is the human imagination born with the presence we call God. I identify God with human imagination. I am doing so I close the gap between God and man. Nothing is impossible to God. I should be able to test his will. A powerful thing is my imagination. Boss things are boss division. I should be able to test it. We are called upon to test it. To test yourself and see. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in thee? Unless of course you fail to meet the test.

How to make the test? How should I go about making the test? First of all, I'm going to ask of you, I ask a big one, and I address, I'll take his letter to the Galatians. Let him who is taught share all good things with him who teaches. Paul did not ask him to make earthly goods. He was asking him to test the results of their experiments. He in turn could take their stories and tell them to encourage their pen. So I would have asked you to test it and then share with me the results of your testing. not be that your dreams, your visions I'd like to hear them for that's how God reveals himself to himself in man we are told if there is a prophet among you say the Lord who made myself known unto him in a vision I will speak with him in a dream

Now this is what a friend of mine did here recently. This man I just met here is a very successful, I will say business man, he's a writer. But he's always busy writing for pictures, writing for TV, and his income is enormous. He never misses a meeting in LA. And here recently he sent me this letter. If you ask me to share with you any experience of mine, such as a vision, a dream, or my practical down -to -earth experiences in the application of this principle, or a hair is a dream. Then first of all I must preface the dream. If you ask me in a better way if I was familiar with Bob Liskware, that central character tries to convince the girl that he can move from one century to another, say the 20th century to the 18th century.

Then he glides into someone's river, and his destination is around the bay. His present is where he is on the boat. His future is around the bay. someone elevated about the earth having a view of both sides of the river see the man's future and his present as present where that man is going and where he is putting present to the one elevated where he said my dream began in this manner I was the observer from above I looked down and I saw infinite possibilities of man. You couldn't conceive of a plot, whether it be a plot of a tragedy, or some glorious plot, some horrible thing, or some marvelous thing. But every conceivable plot that man could ever conceive, every one was present.

Into those minor details. I'm strangely doubt they're all contained in a prone man. Here is the form of a prone man. You should not ask me how infinite states of consciousness, infinite possibilities could be limited by the throne of man. But there it once, only telling you what I experienced. Till I contemplated this, it was the deadest thing I had ever seen. And yet I shouldn't use the word dead, because something that is dead suggests it must have lived. It's a previous life. It is now dead. So it's simply, I even have one thing. I looked at it then I began to breathe on Sunset Boulevard outside my house supermarket people were on the sidewalks there were cars on the street but everything was frozen but everything was frozen three dimensional but frozen and I knew that I alone could navigate As I knew that, I myself was frozen.

I looked at myself, I'm dressed like the others, all frozen. And I knew only if I became alive, would they become alive. And so I took a step, and I seemed to pass through an invisible cliff. At that very moment of taking the step, everyone became alive. I began to move, the sound, the noise, the action, everything. I knew that it was something I was trying to remember. What is it I am trying to remember? I kept on walking. I must have gone a block. It seemed like a normal walk, the kind of walk I take every day. And everything is allowed and independent of me. And then I remembered. As I remembered, I turned around and looked, and changed the focus of my attention, and placed it back above.

And everything once more became frozen, and lifeless. From this exalted state, I recovered I didn't talk to them. and for some strange reason I wanted to speak with people and at that moment I found myself in the living room where a party was in progress and they were chosen and if I didn't get it I was chosen and I wanted to invite the host to invite the guest they all seemed to know me and I don't know one of them and for a moment I panicked for I knew the body would come to an end and I didn't know where to go so I remembered I completely forgot one second before as I became involved in the body that I'm trying to remember something I remembered the Sunset Boulevard experience remembering that and how I escaped from it I walked over to a seat chair I sat down and closed my eyes and I changed the focus of my attention one small place not here, party but above I opened my eyes and rolled closer everyone is closing I felt myself once more above above.

At the exalted state, I looked away down, and here is my cell on a bed. I had quite considered a plentiful idea. Now I know I can change, move my cell from its present state into the most desirable state that I would like to experience. And then I realized how impossible that would be. From this level, I can't change any state. These states are permanent. I would have to go down and identify myself with that being. And from that level, once more, play the game. And so, at that moment, I began to awake. I'm on my bed. But I have no knowledge of the dream. to me it's 6 .30 in the morning I can't conceive that I have read I went to my library and started to make a recording of your last lecture and something you said triggered the dream and it all came back in detail so I just took it and I said if I had seen it last night or did I bring it long, long, long ago?

I don't know. But how did it thrill me and solve all my shit? And at the very end you make it like that. He said I went to my doctor and he said he'd like to congratulate me on my well -made physical recovery. And he asked me if I'd done something, and if so, tell him all about it. So I said I did it all in my imagination. I imagined I was in your office, and you were saying to me exactly what you said. And then I began to explain to him how imagination works. That imagination creates reality. He said to me in an elderly philosophical manner, you know, my wife thinks things like that.

Wasn't very flattering. But he said, this is a strange experience. We were out driving recently on Sunday afternoon, and the radio was turned in to a ball game. And this man is coming to bed, and I dislike him. And I said to my wife, he shouldn't be in the big league. He can't hit, he can't catch, and he can't run. What's not right with me playing in the big league? And she said to me, you shouldn't think things like that. You should think nice things about it. And see him doing wonderful things. She said, alright, I'll do it. I'll see him hit, run. He steps to the plate, and the first ball gets, he belts it into the reaches.

Then said he to his wife, I'll never do that again. It's too fast. I must tell you the lecture that triggered the miracle of his dream. Well, here we all are seated in this room and we think we are here and completely this. this. But his dream signifies he will not get to hell. And yet you're the emanating power of the universe. All that world is moving around you because you identify with the present state. Well, then he began to recall this. I found myself in a dream, but not knowing I found myself on a crowded subway train in New York City. I was talking to my friend David, but the train was literally crowded to the guns.

I heard the voice of the conductor saying, please, do not press against the doors, they may spring. But people couldn't help it. But in spite of the crowd, I could see that the individuality, distinct, and the ladies were more beautiful than each other. They were all beautiful and good to be god. Then I turned to my friend David. I said, David, how can I believe, how can you believe? All that we behold, no one appears without. It is within, in our imagination. And this whole vast world is simply a shadow. How could these lovely ladies be in need? And the train? And the train was this long that was station allowed. When he agreed, he couldn't pass me on this level of acceptance.

Then the train stopped and we got off. Walked up the stairs to the plaza. Then he said to me, you're going by a post office, aren't you? I said, yes. He said, do me a favor and post these letters for me. I took the letters and said, are they properly stamped and addressed? I changed the icon because I was curious with his writing, just to see if the words properly stamped. I waved my eyes to him and turned in the direction of the post office, and he went the opposite direction. And I found myself winking. Were they not winking? me. So what conclusion can I reach? Objectivity and subjectivity are wholly determined for the individual by the level on which his consciousness is focused.

On reflection, it's subjective. When I was actually having the experience, it wasn't subjective. It was objective. Only Only when I know and be affected upon the experience, that I refer to it as a subjective experience. This is now objective. I thought from the moment I entered this room and the meeting, to you it would be a subjective experience, a memory image. So I say, everything is truly within.

Now you can test it. You take a dream, a daydream, of something you want for yourself or something you want for another. And you represent to yourself a scene which it true implies the fulfillment of that thing. Like you this, that, and shall. And so you construct a scene. Any kind of a scene implies the fulfillment of your desire. And then to the degree that you are self -displaced of the reality of that American Rags. It will become fact in your world. I could tell you a number of stories to support that claim. It's not theory of me anymore. This is fact. Based upon experience. So what I'm going to tell you in the book of Luke, the Kingdom of God is within you. You can take it and live it. These garments that you are wearing are parts of the eternal structure of the universe. Your wearing the garment is an act of wearing the costume. You are not the garment you wear. You are doing this for a purpose, a heavenly purpose, but you are not these garments. You are that being that my friend discovered who sees it from above. And to see this universe from above is so completely unlike what it appears to be seen from this angle. It's not as though at all that you come down into this world of death for a purpose.

Now, break me this observation. And he claims he did not write it from his conscious peace denial. That the word were dictated by the spirit of love. God is love. Therefore, if the spirit of love dictated the words of Jerusalem, then is God dictating it? I think as he said, those in great eternity who contemplate on love or else something in clay on dead say this. What seems to be is to those to whom it seems to be evil torments, despair and eternal death. But the blindness is just beyond and redeems man in the body of Jesus. That's something that man can grasp on the step. But I tell you it is true.

To stand in the presence of the risen Christ and commune with him face to face and voice to voice. Then to have love, infinite love. Embrace you. And as he embraces you, you fuse with him without loss of identity. No change in your identity and left you alone with the body of Christ. And then he sends you. And he can't send you without himself because you're one with him. There's no divorcement, no separation in that moment at all. So when he makes the statement, divine mercy steps beyond and redeems man in the body of Christ. So in my last little pamphlet, I made the statement that I made of experience. That you and I are resurrected one by one, to unite into a single man who is God.

So here is a reflection he saw in his reading. A man, clone, concaving infinity, and the deadliest thing he'd ever seen. God places a limitation and then takes upon himself that limitation and reaches in this act the very limit of contraction that he may then expand beyond what he was — he takes upon himself the limit of opacity and then begins to expand and there's no limit to translucence to transparency. This is the world, called the world of death. But while we are in it, and with ourselves are animated in it, we can take any state we desire. There are infinite number of states. You can be in a poor state, or a wealthy state.

You're not that poor as far as the height goes, because one is poor and one is wealthy. Not in a spiritual way. But while you are in the world of Caesar, find out and be comfortable. Do not take a state that cushions and counts. And so you can take a state of affluence that you know what it would be like when you are out of it. Assume that you are. And see in the world that you would see if it were true. And then, I must accept it. Believe in the reality of that unseen imaginal act. If you do, it will come to pass. Because the other best world really is within you. You're welcome.

This will change you. It's all within you. ¶They aren't moving in your world. I don't lose because of you. William James made the statement that the greatest revolution in his time was the discovery that man, by changing the inner attitudes of his mind, could change the outer aspects of his life. James belongs to our generation. The same thing. He's gone from the world. But he was the great educator of the 20th century. And he said the greatest revolution in his time was this discovery. Well, the great Google Docs, the Bible, makes that statement. Now, as James made it, how would you interpret this? Whatever you desire, believe that you have received it, and you will.

Isn't that the one condition imposed upon me over you? Is to persuade yourself that we have it? I persuade myself when at the moment reason denies it, and my senses deny it. James said he could change the attitudes of the mind, and anyone stopping from changing your attitude over the speed of it. You may like him or dislike him. And if your dislike of him causes him to act to confirm your dislike, and you like the disciple, then keep it up. If you don't like that reaction, you could change your advocate. So was him. And he automatically and unknowingly would act in the way that you would like. And you can make it with any person in this world.

So if I am a dad freak, I don't have to get your permission to hold an opinion of him. But I can hold you regardless of you. And if I hold it and persuade myself of reality, of that opinion of it, and you conform to it, I am free. I am free to take any thought. And if I am, and it produces results, then I am a free person, even in the world of the season. So here, I do hope that I have persuaded you. It's the whole vast world. For you seem so small and insignificant to yourself. The whole vast universe is breathing within you. And so you can take it this way and test it.

You're invited to test it. When you get the results, share it with me. Tell me about it. Tell me about it. Explain what you did and how it worked. And if you're blessed this night with a vision, Dr. Herrick, for God makes himself known to man in vision, and he speaks with a man through a dream. So, if I'm to interpret the dream, tell me just what happened. I'm afraid in our attempt to interpret it. He told me exactly what happened when my reaction that he was about to recall triggered the memory of the dream. But all through his experiences, what exactly he was learning was this. I thought, I must remember. If anyone could now persuade himself you're trying to remember something, you lost the memory of it when you came this low in the scale.

And you're trying to remember. What he was trying to remember was that exalted position where he saw the whole thing as dead. When he came down he only could give and complete his God, who he beat him on. People are shocked when you tell them that we are blessed. All things run to their origins. If my origin is God, my day must be done. As the voice that you see yonder feels, the sesamum was sesamum, the corn was corn, The silence and the darkness knew, and so is a man's faithful. If I believe what scientists tell me, that my origin is a word, my pain is a word. If I believe in the Bible, and my origin is God, my pain is not.

And I don't have to choose that anymore. I know that from experience. I don't have to exaggerate the risen Christ. I don't have to exaggerate about God being loved. I stood in the presence of God and he's in for a love. I'm not bending my head when I say God is man. As Blake said, thou art a man, thou hast no home. Thy own humanity learn to adore. God of players and God is light to those poor souls who dwell in that. But does a human form display those who dwell in realms of death? So here, you're wearing the form of God. You are God. He gave you this name. Name that he reveals to the whole past forever.

forever. If you take it, it's all I am. That's my name forever. It'll be known, it'll be known to you throughout all generations. We don't stop there. We say, I am John. I'm John. An unknown John. An unwanted John. These are the limitations and the restrictions we put the name will come. If I would remember the name, I would know about the name. If I only put upon it that which is noble, that which is free, and if I did it, I would walk in that type. So, do me a favor and try it. Try it. I'll show you my own experience but you'll get the results you won't have to how many you want to know no one there's a simple little story two weeks ago just before I closed I was about to close now with the ten million, there's a little unfinished business.

Friend of ours owes you some of it. You've never asked him for it. You've never read him. You've never mentioned it to anyone. But he owes you the money. You're closing up for the entire summer. You'll not be here until late fall. I don't think it's fair to him. Fair to you, fair to me. That he continues in debt without ever mentioning the fact that you owe to the money. I said, all right, do you want the money? He said, yes. I said, well, I'll do it my own way. I will not ask him for it. I will not write him for it. I will not sign him for it. I will do it in my own way of imagination.

So I imagined, first of all, he had money. You can't get it from someone who has the money. So I first of all assumed he had it. That I went beyond that you could have mine and be unwilling to pay that you know. You may have millions and the grocery store has no one there anymore. So I first of all saw him with my own eyes. Then I saw him really and eager to pay me. Then I received from him that he owed me. this I did on Wednesday on Friday the phone rang about 4 .30 it was my friend he had me call me over here he said are you busy smile I said yes I'm actually glad he said that's right it's Friday night well my wife and I went down to the meeting so we came to the meeting to the meeting he said you ride on with me meeting.

And Bill, who's my wife, she'll go home with the one who brought you. And my wife will go with you, with her. So we went on to the parking lot. And we all just drove it all genomic. Something for a thought. I saw nothing like that in the lot. I took the over, told her this wonderful pipe. The New York one. Everything in it with money to buy. They drove me down there. The new car was 3 ,000 miles. Not a word was said, away from me. Not a word was said at home. While he drove my wife and his wife home, left about 4 million. Then, five minutes later, she opened her purse, and said, there was no more overture.

But I think you'll find it in organ and hand me a cheque for twelve hundred dollars. I never asked for it. Never once in the five years he's hung it to me have I been believing. I'm shaking, shaking twelve hundred dollars. This is how it works. If you believe in the reality of your own wonderful imaginal acts, They came out of the moment. And now he has money. Things don't aim for him. He's completely out of debt. I'm pretty of that feeling of owing friends money over so many, many years. So, try it, and then share with me the results of your experiment. I think I'm going to ask my friend, if he has some money.

Did you hear the question? Should we take every dream seriously? Or only few? How do we distinguish the difference between a significant dream and just an ordinary dream? Well, first of all, every dream is a communication from God. Every dream has meaning. But we are past masters misinterpreting the dream. So I told him, you need the help of someone who understands the universal language of symbolism. I don't mean the universal language of symbolism. But if, for instance, I had a dream concerning a bank, it doesn't mean I'm going to have roast pork for dinner. A pig is a universal symbol of the redeemer of the universe. To the redeemer, to the creator, or one. So, what was the biggest thing behind the pig?

What was it in the story of the pig? I had that reason. Here was this little pig, in an enormous interior, material, whoever displayed flowers and plants all types of vegetation. And just closing time, I noticed a little plane, a little rock, and saw seeing no one around. I picked him up and placed him on something as tall as this. Then I picked some flowers and I took some green leaves, made a bed for him. And I also knew that it may not be the best food for him, but he could survive on flowers and leaves until someone opened the place the next day. And then as happened in Britain, they just quickly shifted and now went on the inside of an enormous supermarket.

I'm looking down, here's the pig. And the pig is a tall, thin ring I said to my daughter, Vicky, so Vicky give me some crackers for the pig. And she said, I have many more today. I said, all this belongs to us. Ask no pig for scone, take it. Get some crackers. Meanwhile, I started needing something to feed him. And my brother picked the dream high and he said, what are you doing? I'm getting some food for my baby. And then he added some very thick -looking grain, three heaping handfuls. I thanked him and I started to compete with Sneedy. Then my daughter went over to a huge pyramid of crackers, and she pulled one from the base, which unbound the entire picture in the altar.

I said, The reveal of the little candle of four inches tall. The candle was lit. I said to her, That's my candle. Then the words from Scripture came into my mind. The words of Job and the words of Proverbs. The Spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. When his candle shines upon my forehead, I dislike. I walk through darkness. So I say to Vicky, do not put the crackers back, that's lit now. It must never be lit again. Never be put under a veil, under a bushel, under anything. Now that that light is lit, it must remain lit. And then, click open. So here is the great universal symbol of the Redeemer. And I have thought that imagining creates reality.

I've followed it. It is an update in my life, I don't have opportunities to exercise. The thinness of the plate revealed to me I had not been as faithful to the feeding of plants as I should have been. He symbolized Christ. I knew not to feed him, but to confide in my imagination doubly on behalf of others. I saw the opportunity to help him, and did exercise my imagination doubly on behalf of the other who needed help, so they could feed him. I am feeding Christ every time I exercise my imagination. But it is nothing that matter. So that's the interpretation of that view. If I didn't know the language of symbolism, I would wonder what the my brain would have picked.

That whole thing would seem so stupid. Yet that was communicating to me my life, exercising what I knew. But everyone knows that man creates reality, so you can't judge them. But if you know it, and you don't exercise it, you are not feeding Christ. Any other questions please? Rob and Lloyd invited all to the Bible. The Bible will be the most literal translation of the scripture. The most literal. This is where you see the psychological meaning behind the stone. So from that literal stone, you bring forth water. You go to the book of Genesis. He came into the field, and the well was covered with the rock, the stone. He rolled away the stone. He watered the sheep.

And he rolled it back again. So every man comes to the rock, which is the Bible, the rock of God. He sees, and he does not read, he can read it. And And he has to turn it into water. So he turns stone into water, getting the psychological meaning of the story. His use of that stone, psychologically, converts water into wine. So we are telling him, Timothy's heaven. Oh, Paul's heaven, Timothy. Drink your more of it. Use the little wine for your skill set. And your men in front of us. The Hummer has no obedient soul, the psychological meaning all day long and never a breath. Think a little more now. If you take that literally, you may forget faster.

But he doesn't mean it that way. He means take what you know of the truth and use it. The use of it turns the world into one. I was a player. You can't get both. You know what? I don't hear you correctly. It's a child you say? What a child! A child is a place of all significance. A child is something created. A Christ is always similar to a child. Always a child. Christ is the creative power of the wisdom of God. And that power is always personified as a child. Always. In the 8th chapter of Proverbs. And when he created the world, before he was anything, I still be silent as a little child.

I was daily his delight. I am his creative power, his wisdom. He who finds me, finds I. He who misses me, inches himself. He who hates me, loves them. So you, Father, today we come you all, bring forth the Christ child. Everyone will give birth to Christ. Bring forth that holy God, wrapped in swaddling presence in the Pomeranian Bay. To me, it's self -explanatory. You're going to get worried about something, and you hear the police authority asking you, what are you worrying about? and tell you not to worry and reveals itself in two glorious eyes and you are concerned. Now, look upon that as the most wonderful symbol of help. For that has gone off the dreams now.

And yet, but here, there is death. Death. Death is dead. It's not the end. It's the end. No, I wouldn't say that anyone stays in it. In the course of a day, you and I change state after state after state. None of this takes the course of a day. But we do have a bond in which we return constantly. That's where we live. That state, that emotion to which we most often return, constitutes the true self, the true state. That's the one that's always hatching out. If I don't like the food that it bears, I should do something about planting a new kind of estate or tree. But the individual planting, for instance, I... The money I got was like 300.

I delivered Wednesday. Gave to me on Friday. In the interval, I didn't do it again. Never thought of it again. I was asked to do it, but it was unfinished business. So I did it. or now the Bible teaches that the vision has its own pointed arm it will grow it will be long and wait for it is sure that it will not be late not too late for itself no two impregnations have the same time between conception and birth a child, if it be human takes nine months takes twelve The kitchen takes three weeks, and so sees how their deputy levels of time. That's true also of concepts. Man can conceive himself to be this, that, or the other.

And then that interval between the conception and its birth is determined by the nature of the conception. Any other questions? All this dealt with the end. The end is where we begin. What would be like the rich room? That's the end, isn't it? I have no concern with the means. I go to the end, and the end determines the means. If I have bates and beans you know not of, my ways are passed by me now. So all we're concerned with here is the end. Would you be able to remain in faith one moment to get the reaction, the thrill, that you know still comes with success? Let's hope.
